Alex is an Occupational Therapist with over seven years of experience, with a strong focus on paediatric practice.

She is passionate about supporting children and families to participate in the things that are meaningful to them and takes a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach to therapy.

Alex has worked primarily with children and young people, including those

with autism, ADHD and sensory processing differences.

Her experience includes functional assessments and NDIS reporting,

individualised intervention, sensory processing, parent and carer education, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals.

She draws on approaches including sensory integration, reflex integration,

and connection- and relationship-based strategies, tailoring her therapy to each child’s individual strengths, needs and goals.

She particularly enjoys helping families understand their child’s development and finding practical strategies that can be incorporated into everyday life.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys discovering new places with friends, exploring nature through hikes, walks and trips to the beach, and staying active with pilates, yoga and the occasional workout. She occasionally plays pickleball with friends and is a big fan of movies and TV shows, a proud Potterhead, and loves watching volleyball
